Did you get your charger yet? To ensure you get the most current out of the charger to your device (whatever the max your device needs), make sure you use quality cable as the above user posted. Same phone same charger, I've tested, using bad cable, I was only getting about 0.5A current vs a good cable I was able to get 1.5-2A current.

 

Since you got a 5 port charger, I forgot to mention that Anker also have 5-pack or 6-pack micro usb cables available on amazon.

I bought the 5 pack and use the 3ft and 6ft by my bedside, 6ft one for when I use my phone while in bed. But if I were to buy again, I think I would buy the 6 pack 1ft ones instead, because personally I don't have much use of the 3 ft cables but need quite a few 1ft short ones for the charge station. Long cable simply is too messy.

Like I said before. It's  "in writing" when the CEO said it publicly. Doesn't matter what the website says. It isn't easy updating the website just to remove two lines(You'd be surprised those two lines could be 100+ lines of code which checks off other checks). They are waiting for probably their major overhaul to do it.  It's the same thing that happened with jump and jump 2. You still can't tell which one you had until roughly a month later.

Thanks for replying and sorry for  the delay. This did recently start. It does not appear to be spamming, from their end (no hyperlink or information other than the single phrase mentioned in the OP). I was afraid my phone was accessed and maybe spamming other people (though no outgoing messages were found).

 

My phone is new. My number is not however (I've had this for 5+ years). I haven't clicked on a potentially sketchy link to my knowledge.

Hi Alissa, I called customer service  Monday morning and finally put me through to Joy (supervisor) and she said she will get right on it and it might take 3 to 5 days, which sucks been with out a phone, going on three weeks. She told me my new phone is waiting to be ship out, just waiting for my old phone that at wrong address and new phone at the other address. She checking on Wednesday on the status of what going on and again Friday. I wish they stop blaming other people and send out my phone and what you told me the address that my phone is at is a return center, so what the problem they have my old phone. I'm sorry just mad of what going on, I hope Joy can take care of the problem.

Thanks for the suggestions - here are some answers...

 

I followed all the steps that Brian described, 3 times, using "fresh" downloads of the file each time and never got a change in the firmware version.

 

I am also having a problem with the Client Status portion of the Network Map page that I have been working on for two months.  ASUS finally gave up and told me that the problem was T-Mo's since T-Mo modifies the ASUS program so ASUS Tech Suport threw it over the wall to T-Mo Tech Support.  It takes about two weeks for the problem to show up ("Searching..." for clients "forever" until you reboot the router).  It is not clear where the ASUS issues end and T-Mo's start...  Since T-Mo handles the firmware updates, and does not push updates as quickly or frequently as ASUS does, I tend to feel that T-Mo is accountable.

 

I am using a Mac/Firefox but I hope that the OS/platform shouldn't be a factor.  I changed the extension as Brian suggested and "accepted" the change.  Everything seemed to go OK, except...

 

The router says that it is updating and takes about 3 minutes.  The router does not instruct me to do a restart but I did power-down the router per the instructions anyway.  I also tried a Reboot, just in case.  No luck!

I've spent over 20 hours on the phone for this exact problem. They try fixing it and it will work for one month then expire then i have to go through more calls again. I've been having this problem since January and its now the beginning of April.

 

I've tried creating the password with a capital letter and it's still not working.

       From what you say about the other problems with the router it sounds like you just may have a bad router!!  I hate to be negative but it just sounds like you have other problems with the box and may need to replace it.

      As for your computer and OS, they should have NO impact on what the router does.  Unless your MAC is doing something weird to the file you are downloading it shouldn't matter if you are on Mac, Windows, or Linux... they all access the router the same way through a browser. 

     Did you purchase the router or is it a "loaner" from T-Mobile (like mine)?  Might try talking to tech support and mention this thread and what has been going on.   You might find you just need a replacement.  It happens!

Just curious but I pre-ordered my 32gb Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at 6:32 am Friday the 27th and paid for UPS Express however my phone is being shipped via UPS Ground according to the UPS website. has anyone else had this same issue? I paid for a speedy delivery and am hoping this is just a mistake?

I can't connect to any game servers, or download game updates with my new TM-AC1900. When I try to download a game from Steam it starts to download, but promptly drops the connection and places the update back into a queue. Two days ago I had a Netgear router installed, and all of  this was working fine.
